By Woodend Neighbourhood House. Join leatherwork Artist Wendy Tonkin for this practical and creative leatherworking workshop where you'll make your very own personalised leather journal.

This is a six hour class creating a personalised, tooled leather journal cover lined with a soft pre-coloured lining (your choice of colours), made for a fully removable A5 journal, diary, or notebook with a magnetic closure.

You will design, and tool your design to create your outer, before dyeing and finishing it to your satisfaction; then inserting your magnets before hand-stitching all pieces into place with your choice of coloured waxed thread, or kangaroo lacing if you choose.

A journal can be included for an extra $8. Feel free to bring your own conchos, special closures, or any decorations you'd like to add (we will have some on hand for sale on the day). If coloured leather kangaroo lacing is preferred to thread, an added cost of $2.50 per metre will apply.
